Resolving MPO complications of science teachers

The complexity of hiring science teachers in private educational institutions has been going on for a long time. One MPO (Monthly Payment Order) was received for appointing two persons on the same subject but the other was not given this facility. However, after a long time, the Ministry of Education solved this problem.

On Tuesday (October 20th), Additional Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education Mominur Rashid signed instruction to MPO both teachers.

It has been said that two teachers of science and physics were appointed in the educational institutions at the secondary level. One of them was included in the MPO but the other was not covered. Although teachers were appointed for these two posts in the second cycle from NTRCA in 2019, they have not been brought under MPO registration yet. In this case, the previously appointed assistant teachers will be enrolled in MPO and then the newly appointed assistant teachers will be enrolled in MPO.

The directive further said that even after getting an appointment through NTRCA, he has not been enrolled in MPO till now. Those who have been employed as per the recruitment rules before the MPO policy of 2026 have been asked to enroll in the MPO as Assistant Teachers of Biology. If this post becomes vacant later, as per the latest policy, the demand for Assistant Teacher (Biology) has to be sent to NTRCA through appropriate means. Those recruited in the second phase of the NTRCA have been asked to enroll in the MPO considering the physics positions.
